Colour Feature by JSW Paints and Joanna Bodzek

In an exciting collaboration with Presenting Partner JSW Paints, visual artist Joanna Bodzek presented All I Know is How I Feel at Design Mumbai, an exhilarating exploration of colour. Reflecting on the unique design feature, Bodzek shared, “Life is shifting, evolving in unseen ways. Amidst wars and an unpredictable economy, life feels uncertain, in transition. All we can truly hold on to is how we feel.” Teasing the experiential space, she added, “There is power in pink—in its ability to transform space, hold memories, and nurture belonging.”

Design Feature: THE Park Hotels and Richard Hutten

Richard Hutten, the Dutch industrial designer and founding member of Droog Design, collaborated with THE Park Hotels to create a hotel room concept inspired by soft minimalism. “Rooted in north European minimalism, I used warm materials and soft shapes, adding details for an east-meets-west feel, where India meets Holland,” said Hutten. The rooms featured furniture and accessories from Objectry, Jaipur Rugs, Fusion Access, Loco Design, and VitrA.

SRIVAN Pavilion by Studio Saar

Studio Saar, the UK and Udaipur-based architecture practice, unveiled Srivan (श्रीवन), a modular pavilion inspired by ancient Indian principles of forestry and nature conservation. Positioned beside the main fair premises in Mumbai’s Jio World Garden, Srivan—meaning “forest of prosperity”—formed an expansive canopy, creating a shaded breakout area for guests and exhibitors.

Magical Bloom by Vibhor Sogani

The prolific Indian artist and product designer Vibhor Sogani presented Magical Bloom at Design Mumbai. This installation, designed exclusively for the event, channeled light through countless polished stainless steel spheres, forming the shape of a flower in bloom. “In our fast-paced modern lives, we often overlook the richness and wonder that surrounds us. Magical Bloom prompts us to appreciate the details in the natural world,” said Sogani.
