Design Mumbai is a new international trade event for design, architecture and interiors professionals capturing the creative energy and consumer power of India, the world’s fifth biggest economy, featuring leading international and Indian contemporary brands and designers. A four-day trade event with selected VIP consumer access, the inaugural Design Mumbai show will take place 6-9 November 2024 at Jio World Garden in the heart of Mumbai.
The Design Mumbai team is headed up by a trio of show production and design specialists with over 60 years of combined experience. Ian Rudge is the co-founder of 100% Design, the UK’s most successful design event, and has delivered several influential international design events. Michael Dynan is the co-founder of Design Shanghai and has launched over 30 live event brands which are now staged annually. Piyush Suri is a designer, brand owner, event organiser and TV presenter for the BBC.
Montgomery Group is the UK’s longest-running independent event organiser with over 50 events and co-locates in 15 countries including Art Central in Hong Kong, Art SG in Singapore, Photo New York, and the highly regarded India Art Fair, Delhi, which has been staged successfully for 15 years.

No, there is no need to book, but we advise arriving 10 minutes before the talk or workshop start time in order to secure a place.

Ticket/s are non-transferable and non-refundable.

What is included with a VIP Pass?
The VIP Pass offers early entry on Wednesday 6 November, providing exclusive access to the show before the general opening. It also includes unlimited access to the show for the rest of the week.
What are the benefits of a professional pass?
A professional pass secures access to the show for trade and industry professionals, offering opportunities to network with exhibitors, attend talks, and participate in workshops for all 3 days the show.
Do students receive any special discounts or passes?
Yes, students can purchase discounted tickets but must present a valid student ID and government-authorised proof of identity at the venue for verification.
Are children allowed at the event?
Access to the fair for children under the age of 16 is strictly prohibited. Design Mumbai is a trade and professional show.

Design Mumbai is a non-smoking event. Heavy bags, rucksacks, lighters, cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, all kinds of electronic smoking devices, chewing gum, firearms, and explosives are not permitted.

VIP Passes
VIP passes do not grant access to the VIP lounge.
Student Tickets
Customers with student tickets must present a valid student ID along with government-authorised proof of identity for verification at the venue.

Last Entry
The last entry to the show is 60 minutes before closing time (Wednesday – Friday) and 90 minutes before closing time (Saturday).
